Resonant Navigation System Manual

RESONANT SKIN LEVELS

This virtual installation has six resonant 'skin' levels.

You can add or subtract resonant skin levels by clicking the + or - signs.

Your navigation arrow will turn digital when approaching these signs. 'Digital' means here: it will turn into a digit, a finger, since it finds a resonant surface or skin to touch. Whenever you approach the signs + or -, the color of your touching hand/finger will be red.

Resonant levels are somehow visible and audible: when you add a new level, new traces of forms and a new sound layer (each skin level arises with the sound of a surface being touched, rubbed, scrubbed, etc.) will be added to the homepage. Whenever you subtract a resonant level, the opposite will occur. Resonant levels can be all activated or all deactivated, depending on your interaction. When finding a + sign, it means the corresponding resonant level is not activated.

You may activate it by clicking the + sign. When finding a - sign, you may perform the opposite operation.

RESONANT TRIGGER POINTS

Each resonant skin level contains several resonant trigger points.

Resonant trigger points are seemingly invisible and inaudible but you can detect them by touching around (navigating your screen with your touchpad or mousepad). When touching around, your navigation arrow may turn into a digit again. In case it detects a resonant trigger point, your hand/finger will be blue. To trigger the resonant point, click the surface whenever your navigation arrow turns into a blue finger. When a specific resonant skin level is activated, you can only detect and trigger its specific trigger points. When all resonant skin levels are activated, all resonant points can be detected and triggered. When clicking a trigger point, other dimensions and experiences of the platform will be opened or activated.
